Description

Our cinnamon bark essential oil contains a minimum of 60% cinnamaldehyde, the main active aromatic and flavor compound and is importantly absent from coumarin 

• Ceylon cinnamon is called True cinnamon , grown only in Sri Lanka and some areas of southern India.   

• Cinnamon bark essential oil is produced through steam distillation of inner bark of Cinnamomum zeylanicum (C.verum) trees.

• Due to a high concentration of characteristic flavour and aroma compounds but absence of high levels of coumarin in ceylon cinnamon, it is highly valued in perfumery, aromatherapy, cosmetics and food flavoring industries. Ceylon cinnamon contains far less coumarin than cassia cinnamon.

• Produced in a cGMP facility.
